My bi-coastal hero, Robert Frost once said, “Home is the place where, when you have to go there, they have to take you in.”

There’s something about the 40 years of SNL that makes so many of us feel @ home when we watch it.

I am thankful for the brave stars that came back (n going back is never ez) n belted out  long since retired singing voices and sported tighter than appropriate wardrobes for the team n the cause @ 40 anos. It was very  good!

SNL has been a touch stone, a friendly port, a distraction… from wars, famines, droughts, genicides that at 11:30, each Sabado noche, would be there to help remind us that life, in spite of it’s dark side, is precious and funny even in  its most tragic moments…

Amigos, should SNL go away, home will still be there…
