These were the words of 90 year old astronaut, former US Senator, John Glenn, 50 years after his space voyage. His pioneer’s spirit still drive his body and mind. His optimism, humility and curiosity make me feel foolish for even the smallest self-pitying moments.

Enjoy the attached interview, it gives you a slightly different take on space voyage. Perhaps the ingenuity and pursuit are more important than some of us sometimes give credit for, especially in times where just getting by seems like the best some of us can do.

A few lingering thoughts…
